Let me recap it for you!
I woke up this morning at noon exactly, no alarm set, or ANYTHING, which was the exact time the World Cup Draw was to happen. I turn the TV to ESPN and see they’re doing predraw coverage so I hop in the shower and freshen up, get out, and see USA put in the same group as England. You know, my DREAM SOCCER MATCH? That would have been enough to make today great but it got so much damn better. I checka checka checka my weight and it’s down to 266.6, SIX SIX SIX THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST, so it’s like hell yeah, time to rock my Iron Maiden shirt all day. I get online to check out what’s going on in the digital world and I see that my good friend 27/Sephiroth unbanned all members on OG which means I got to talk to craigfer today, which made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside :3
Sephy then tells me to check out The Steinways, and I’m like alright, sounds like a cool band. I check out Missed The Boat and holy fucking shit it’s my dream band, good pop punk with comedic bits sprinkled in. I seriously don’t know how I had never checked these guys out before, I have a feeling they’re going to climb my last.fm charts quite rapidly. I basically chill on the internet all day til around 8 PM when I wander downstairs to make some food and I notice we got HOT WING SAUCE IN OUR FRIDGE AFTER JUST SAYING HOW BAD I WANTED HOT WINGS FUUUUUUUCK, look in the freezer, POPCORN CHICKEN HELL YES, needless to say I dined like a king (or archduke!)
A few hours later I decide to trek through late night drunk Tiffin and listen to some pop punk on my adventure, I end up seeing 5 police cars and about 30 drunk Tiffiners walking downtown. It’s telling of a city when you see more people downtown on a Friday night than you do downtown the rest of the week combined. Regardless I get to Circle K and get a coffee, and find out that the 24 oz. coffees are $1.39 again. Only having 95 cents on me, I’m just like …….welp, day ruined, but OH SHIT CASHIER PULLS SOME GOD DAMN CIRCLE K MAGIC and I end up only having to pay 95 cents! I leave the K and put on the Steinways and the first line is “Looks like i’m broke again tonight” - said “a fuckin men” out loud to that. I walk home and stop at St. Vincent DePaul to check the free box and see a picture frame with a dumb drawing of a rooster so I’m like okay, I could use a picture frame, maybe I can print out a catgirl and put it up :3, and when I get home I remove the rooster picture and there’s an officially licensed picture of G Unit. G UNIT.
Honestly, I don’t think life can get better than right now.
