So I stayed up 42 hours straight from Friday night to Sunday afternoon, and I’m disappointed I couldn’t stay up longer - I know I had another 10 hours in me, but with the Seahawks getting pounded by the Viqueens, drama on OG, and the fact that I was just incredibly bored, I decided to just pass out. As I do after staying up extended periods of time, I had an elaborate and extended dream that was extremely vivid and felt real, and the best part was that I actually didn’t wake up in the middle of sleep! I seriously think that’s maybe the 5th time or so total since middle school that that’s happened, and it’s always so refreshing to actually wake up after a good 10 hours of uninterrupted sleep. I always feel alert and ready to take on the world, but since it was 2 AM, there wasn’t much world to take on, so I ended up just sorting my 3 Gamecube memory cards and played Sonic Heroes (which is a hell of a lot better than Sonic Adventure, I might add, though it doesn’t touch SA2.)
Hopefully today I’m going to hang out with my good friend Ben, and will hit up Level Up (the new video game store here) so I can blow the $15 or so I have to my name right now on really bad Nintendo 64 games that I’ll play once and put away forever. I’d really like to find some last gen or current gen Sega games for an affordable price, since I’ve been reading and watching a ton about Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, which looks like one of the coolest games of all time. I’d REALLY like to find Space Channel 5 on PS2, but I’m not pushing my luck - I guess it’s possible since I found Jet Set Radio Future in a pawn shop for $5, but it’s still unlikely. Realistically I’ll find a copy of Sonic Riders or something. I really wish Level Up had Dreamcast games because I would KILL to find a copy of Shenmue or Crazy Taxi (which I surprisingly still don’t own on Dreamcast.)
God I am such a Sega fanboy
